Never Have I Ever: Guilty
Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026. Updated November 1, 2026 for Android crash reporting. Applies to Never Have I Ever: Guilty on iOS and Android.

Metric Rise FZE LLC, Ajman Free Zone, UAE, publishes Never Have I Ever: Guilty and is responsible for the data practices described here. The app does not require an account.

Game data stays on your device

Saved player names, avatars and preferences stay on your device. Scores are held in memory during the game. We do not send player names or individual scores to our analytics services. If you share results, you choose the destination through the system share sheet. The shared image can contain player names and scores.

Optional usage analytics

Usage analytics is off by default in iOS version 1.0.0 build 7 and later and in Android version 1.0.0 and later. You can enable it in Settings under Share usage analytics. Playing and purchasing do not require this consent. Earlier TestFlight builds did not have this switch and may already have sent analytics events.

When enabled, Amplitude receives app usage and purchase-completion events, such as category selections, game activity and the purchase plan selected. Events can include player counts and identifiers for categories or statements, but not player names or individual scores.

Amplitude groups events using a persistent, randomly generated installation identifier, together with technical information such as device model and operating system. These records are pseudonymous, not fully anonymous. The app disables IP-based location collection and system advertising identifiers in its analytics configuration. Internet connections still expose an IP address to the receiving service.

We use this data to understand usage and improve the app, based on your consent. Turning the switch off stops new analytics events. Events queued while consent was enabled may finish uploading. Withdrawing consent does not delete existing records or affect processing that took place before withdrawal. See Amplitude's privacy notice.

Purchases

Apple processes iOS payments and Google Play processes Android payments. We do not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat processes purchase history, subscription status and an anonymous app user identifier to validate purchases, restore paid access and report subscription performance. This processing is separate from optional Amplitude analytics and is needed to provide and administer paid features.

Purchase-completion events are sent to Amplitude only when usage analytics is enabled. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and the privacy policies of Apple and Google.

No advertising tracking

The app has no advertising network integration. We do not sell your personal data or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising. This iOS release does not initialize Firebase Crashlytics or send crash reports through it.

Android crash reporting

On Android, Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects crash reports and diagnostics to help us investigate failures. Reports include app and operating-system versions, device information, error messages and stack traces, and installation or session identifiers.

Crash reporting is separate from optional Amplitude analytics. The Share usage analytics setting does not disable Crashlytics. We do not set player names or the RevenueCat subscriber identifier as a Crashlytics user identifier. See Firebase's privacy information for details of its processing.

Support and data requests

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use that information to respond and handle your request. Do not include player names, game results or payment card details.

Settings includes Request data deletion, which lets you compose or copy an email containing the available analytics and purchase identifiers. Nothing is sent until you send the email. These identifiers help us locate records without requiring an account. If an identifier is unavailable, contact us and we will explain what can be located.

Retention and deletion

Local preferences and saved players remain until removed from the device; device backups may retain copies. Analytics records are retained to analyse app usage until deleted following a verified request. There is no automatic deletion timer in the app.

Firebase Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting to remove them from its live and backup systems, as described in its privacy information.

Purchase records are retained for entitlement validation, restoration, subscription administration and applicable legal requirements. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and keep a record of how they were handled. Retention depends on these purposes and legal obligations, rather than one fixed period for all records.

We assess deletion requests and delete data we no longer need, subject to legal obligations and the rights of others. Removing purchase records may affect restoration of paid access. Deleting the app, withdrawing analytics consent or requesting deletion does not cancel a store subscription. Manage or cancel iOS subscriptions through your Apple account and Android subscriptions through your Google Play account. Apple and Google control their own transaction records.

Your rights and international processing

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal data, or object to certain processing. You can withdraw optional analytics consent in Settings. Contact [email protected] to exercise your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We are based in the UAE. Our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States; the app uses Amplitude's US service. Their privacy notices describe their processing locations and transfer safeguards.

Age suitability and policy changes

The app is intended for adults. Refer to the App Store or Google Play listing for your region's age rating. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data so we can investigate and address it.

We will update this page and its effective date when our data practices change. For questions, contact [email protected].
